How to apply on the website
To apply for the Better Home Card, you must first access the Better.com website. Then, select the “Home Improvement Loan” option.
At this point, you’ll be redirected to the Better Home Card page. Next, press “Get Your Card” to start your application.
First, you must provide a phone number, and Better will text you a verification code.
If you already have a Better Mortgage, they’ll import your application data for your Better Home Card application.
If not, you’ll have to provide your basic information, including your name, home address, and Social Security number.
Also, Better will require your income and employment information. After providing all the requested information, they will run a credit check, which won’t impact your credit history.
After that, you’ll see which loan amount and interest rate you qualify for. And, if approved, you’ll receive your Better Home Card in 3 to 7 days.
Better Home Card has some eligibility requirements that new applicants must meet.
They must have a credit score of at least 680. Also, they must have a debt-to-income ratio of no more than 50%.
