All you need to know about the Walmart MoneyCard

The Walmart MoneyCard is a prepaid debit card issued by Green Dot Bank.

It is a great card for anyone who doesn’t want trouble managing their account, especially for frequent Walmart customers.

One of its main features is the cash back rewards. Cardholders can get 3% cashback from, 2% at Walmart gas stations, and 1% at Walmart stores.

This means you can get up to $75 cashback annually.

This debit card uses both Visa and Mastercard networks, so customers can purchase in multiple merchants other than Walmart.

In addition, it charges no annual fee. A $5.94 monthly fee is charged. However, you can avoid this fee if you make $500+ in eligible direct deposits during the previous monthly period.

Walmart MoneyCard also offers optional Overdraft protection. A high-yield savings account and a family account are also available.

Furthermore, cardholders can earn 2% APY on the savings account as long as they open the account with the required deposit amount.

The issuer offers an online service and a mobile app where customers can manage their accounts.

Through these services, they can load their cards, transfer and withdraw money and even pay bills.
